Cec was elected to the Town Council in 2023. She moved to Horley from neighbouring Crawley in 2020. She has worked in Surrey from 1989, as a Community Paediatrician. Initially doing baby clinics in Horley back in 1990 and being the school doctor for some of Horley’s school. She continued to deliver services to children across the East Surrey area until her retirement in 2017. More recently, she returned to practice to support the Covid vaccination programme. She is Chair of Trustees at Jigsaw Southeast, a children’s bereavement charity supporting children across Surrey and surrounding areas.
Cec is particularly interested in health and wellbeing and is keen to see Horley flourish as a town that is good to grow up and live in.
