Council saddened by death of former Councillor
Horley Town Council is mourning the loss of a highly regarded former Town Councillor who has sadly passed away following her long battle with cancer.
Councillor Linda Mabbett served Horley Town Council and residents from 2015 – 2019 and had lived in the borough for over 30 years.
She was passionate about Horley Town Centre and made a valuable contribution both on the Town Council and through her membership of the Horley Town Management Group.
Everyone at the Council is saddened by the news of Councillor Linda’s death and we are all thinking of her and her family. Linda has been an example to us all with her valiant and dedicated service to Horley and she will be fondly remembered by fellow Councillors and staff.
