Bus Route Widening work at the junction of Meath Green Lane and Horley Row
Surrey County Council have provided the following information. -
“ A message will be passed over to our contractor to make sure that they maintain a suitable width pavement but it might be that at times it’s not possible to maintain as large a width as during normal operations, therefore it might be better to cross to the other side. The works shouldn’t be going on for too much longer, we’re just waiting for confirmation that Virgin Media have finished their diversion works before we go in and complete our works.
For information, we’re not affecting the width of the footway, but we are widening the carriageway into the existing verge.”
