Reigate & Banstead Borough Council invites residents to give their views

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council has launched its latest residents’ survey today (Wednesday 8 March 2017) to ask residents for their views on the Council and their local area.

Cllr Victor Broad, Leader of the Council, is urging everyone who lives in the borough to take part: “What residents tell us about the Council, our services and where they live through this survey is really important. It helps us to understand which services are most important to them, and where we can improve, so please do have your say.

“The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and can even be done on the go on a mobile device. The results will help inform our upcoming priorities, plans and spending.”

This time, the Council is seeking views on:

  • the local area
  • the Council
  • community safety
  • local economic development
  • council initiatives

Cllr Broad added: “Even if you’ve completed our residents survey in the past, please take part this time to help us understand how we are doing and whether things have changed since last time.”

Previous surveys have informed our Five Year Plan, which sets out the Council’s priorities and objectives to 2020 and where we will be prioritising spending as a result.

The survey is being conducted on the Council's behalf by independent market research company M·E·L Research. The survey has already been circulated to 5,500 residents who have contacted the Council previously but we want to give everyone the chance to have their say.
