Notice of Conclusion of Audit

BDO LLP has completed the Annual Audit for the financial year ending 31 March 2012. The auditor is satisfied with the council’s financial standing and has issued a Notice of Completion on 14 September 2012 with an unqualified opinion. The accounts are now available for inspection at the council offices by local electors, in accordance with the Audit Commission Act 1998: Accounts and Audit Regulations (England) Regulations 2011). Prior appointment will be necessary by contacting the Town Clerk on 01293 784765 or e-mail town.clerk@zen.co.uk

The Council also fully complies with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and any member of the public may inspect any other requested documentation which is covered by the legislation.
