Station Road, Horley – Business as Usual
IT’S BUSINESS AS USUAL IN STATION ROAD, BALCOMBE ROAD AND SMALLFIELD ROAD, HORLEY, WHILE SOUTHERN GAS NETWORKS CARRIES OUT ESSENTIAL GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT WORK
Southern Gas Networks are working to upgrade the local gas supply network in Station Road, Horley.
The existing metal gas mains and services are being replaced with modern plastic polyethylene pipe in a project designed to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to the local area.
This essential work started on 15 August and forms part of our on-going mains replacement programme in the area.
For 11 weeks of the project, the junction of Station Road with Balcombe Road will be closed to eastbound traffic. Vehicles will be diverted west along Station Road, Station Approach, Victoria Road and into Balcombe Road.
All work is due for completion in November.
Access to shops and businesses in and around the area of work will be maintained at all times!
