Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
The Chamber of Commerce and Horley Town Coucil are investigating the feasibility of holding a ‘Fun Day’ in Horley on Monday 4 June 2012 to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Many local organisations have already expressed interest. Planning for the event has already started at an initial meeting. Permission is being sought from the relevant authorities. Many events are being discussed such as a Tug of War competition, a BMX/skateboard event in the Skate Park, a 5-a-side football tournament, an open air concert etc.
