Horley Awards Night 2026
Horley celebrated its gardening, photography and carnival winners at a special awards evening on Friday 25 September 2026.
Winners of the Horley in Bloom 2026 and Horley Photographic Competitions received their certificates and prizes, with winning trophies and shields providing a fitting backdrop for photographs. Horley Carnival winners were also presented with their prizes and trophies.
It was a pleasure to welcome Reigate & Banstead Mayor, Cllr Nick Harrison, and Horley Mayor, Cllr Lynnette Easterbrook, who kindly took the time to attend and present the awards. Their presence helped make the evening particularly special, and they warmly congratulated all the winners on their achievements.
This year saw a considerable increase in entries for Horley in Bloom, demonstrating the continued popularity of gardening and the pride residents take in the appearance of our town. Attendees also enjoyed an informative talk from Gatwick Greenspace Partnership about how to rewild your garden and encourage more wildlife into our local environment.
Horley Town Council was delighted to support Horley in Bloom once again this year and would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the organisers, volunteers and entrants who helped make the event such a success. It was a very well-attended and enjoyable evening, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our local community.
