Trees at Court Lodge
Some of you may have noticed that the willow trees at Court Lodge Fields have had a very severe cut back, which has left them looking very sad.
Every three years we survey all the trees on our land. This year's survey revealed that the willows had variously: snapped limbs, extensive dieback and significant decay in the main stem. Safety of the public is always our primary concern so we had to act in accordance with the arboculturist recommendations.
We have been advised that the willows should return to their former glory in 1-2 years
