Tree Felling in Horley Recreation Ground
Unfortunately, a maple tree near the entrance to the bowls club is infected with honey fungus and will have to be felled. We have tried various remedial measures over the last two years, but sadly, the tree's base has now become so unstable as to require the tree's removal.
We will be looking into the possibility of introducing more trees into this area of the Recreation Ground once the honey fungus has left the soil, which takes a few years.
