Horley Town Council Award a £500 Grant to 'Men In Sheds'

Horley Town Council is pleased to announce an award of a £500 grant from the Horley Edmonds Community Fund to the Men In Sheds Project, supported by the Alliance for Better Care CIC. This funding supports the purchase of a metal storage shed in the Horley Health Hub garden to provide storage for tools.

The grant was presented by Cllr Martin Saunders, former Town Mayor (2024/25), ahead of the Annual Council Meeting held on 6 May 2025, at which Cllr Lynnette Easterbrook was elected as the new Town Mayor.

This grant is part of the Town Council’s ongoing commitment to supporting community projects that benefit Horley residents. Each year, the Council allocates a budget to its Council Grants Scheme to provide small grants to local voluntary and charitable groups, enhancing services and opportunities across the town.
