Appointment of an Administrator (Planning Support)

(Part-time - 16 hours per week)

Salary Scale SCP:  13 - 17 (£26,873 - £28,770 per annum pro-rata)

Horley Town Council is an ambitious and busy Town Council and is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person who can provide efficient and effective support to the Town Clerk to assist with planning related matters, other ad hoc projects and administrative tasks, assisting members of the public when necessary and to facilitate Planning meetings and other committee related requirements.”

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate previous administrative experience in an office-based environment, along with IT skills and strong interpersonal skills. A knowledge of local government would be desirable or to have a willingness to learn about it and attend relevant training events.
