Horley Library Closure for Super Access Install, 6th November - 11th of November 2023
Horley Library will be the first library in Surrey to benefit from the new Super Access technology coming to Surrey Libraries. This technology will allow borrowers over 16 who sign up for the service to access the library outside of our staffed opening hours, providing you with the opportunity to access Horley at a time that works for you.
This technology is currently in place in over 100 libraries in the country across a number of authorities, so I'm excited to see what this service can provide for our customers and the wider Horley community. Super Access requires some building work at Horley Library, and we will be closing for a week for these changes to take place.
We will be closed from Tuesday 6th of November to Saturday 11th of November (inclusive). We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause you while we’re closed. Your closest libraries are Reigate Library and Redhill Library, which will remain open during our closure. All loans from Horley Library will be renewed at the end of the day on Monday 6th of November, so no library items will be due back during that week, and you will not accrue any charges.
We are very excited to be benefiting from this additional service and will be announcing the launch date for Super Access at Horley Library soon.
