NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 87(2) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 THAT
a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Horley South Ward of the Town Council of Horley.
An election to fill the vacancy will be held within sixty days if notice in writing of a request for such an election is made by TEN local government electors for the Horley South town council ward and received by the Returning Officer, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH not later than 26 March 2020.
If a request for an election is not received by the above deadline the Town Council will co-opt a person to fill the vacancy as soon as practicable.
