Saturday Market transfers to Horley Town Council
Horley Town Council and Reigate & Banstead Borough Council are pleased to announce that with effect Saturday 25 July, the Saturday Market which is regularly held in the Market Car Park, Consort Way, Horley will in future be managed by the Town Council.
Following several discussions with the Borough Council, who are the landowners of the car park, it has been agreed that the Town Council will in future run the market and will carry out a number of initiatives to promote and publicise the market with the intention of bringing more traders and customers to Horley Town Centre every Saturday. A campaign has also started to invite new traders to join the market.
The market opens from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm every Saturday. There are a variety of traders ranging from a butcher, greengrocer, and traders selling hardware, cards and stationery, pet food, watches and flowers and plants. More information is available from the Town Council on 01293 784765.
