Two New Town Councillors co-opted

At an Extraordinary Meeting of the Town Council on 16 June two new Councillors were co-opted. They are Graham Knight who will represent the Horley North West Ward (replacing Sonia Odds) and Michael Robinson who will represent the Horley South Central Ward (replacing Janice Gall).

Graham Knight

Graham works in the Financial Services industry. He really enjoys living in Horley with its sense of community and proximity to the countryside, Gatwick Airport, London and the coast. His main areas of interest are the ongoing regeneration of the town centre, the need for a coherent and sustainable planning policy and recycling and carbon reduction issues. His knowledge of finance and law, Graham believes, will be an additional asset to the Council.

Michael Robinson

Michael has lived in Horley all his life. He currently works at Gatwick Airport as a Customer Service Agent for one of the main airlines. He is an aviation enthusiast whose interests include football, golf and snooker and he is well used to working as part of a team. Michael is keen to be involved in shaping the future of Horley and he is particularly keen to strive for improved leisure activities for the teenagers and young people of the town.
