Horley in Spring
The Horley in Spring Competition for 2009 has been launched.
There will be two categories:
- Residential
- Non Residential
Certificates will be issued for the winners of each class, including best newcomers. An entry form is available from the Town Council Offices and it can also be downloaded from this website. The closing date for entries is 28th February 2009. Judging will take place in March or early April. The judges will be Jim Williamson and Richard Bethell.
All results will appear in the local press and on the Town Council website.
Awards will be given out at the Annual Town Meeting on 24 April 2009.
Following our success with two silver awards in 2008, Horley will be entering the South and South East in Bloom Competition again this summer. This year we will be ‘going for gold’. Local businesses have been approached for sponsorship and we hope to have a record number of hanging baskets on display. If you are interested in sponsoring baskets or planters then please let us know.
