I have lived in Horley for more than 40 years – the last 35 or so in Langshott, so I know the area very well, and have seen it change and grow over time. I care passionately about our town, and am keen that Horley should get a fair deal within the Borough.
I am involved with a number of local organisations (Horley Tangent Club; Stripey Stork; The Regent Hall) and participate in community events such as the carnival. I was delighted to be elected as a Town Councillor in 2019, and have thoroughly enjoyed serving on the Finance and General Purposes and Leisure and Amenities committees. Having spent my working life as a secondary English teacher in the Borough, I am particularly interested in facilities for, and the welfare of, young people.
