Appeer is a community interest company operating to benefit autistic girls and women. We deliver online and in-person sessions in Surrey for autistic girls, women, and their parents/carers. We aim to foster A Positive Peer approach by sharing interests, connecting with each other, celebrating autism, and offering support. Appeer is led by parents of autistic daughters and some of our managers and facilitators are neurodivergent themselves. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Autistic Girls We offer both online and in-person sessions for autistic girls aged 7-12. These are facilitated by our specialist staff and lead by Kris, our Girls Programme Manager. Our Weekend Girls Group is held monthly on a Sunday at St. Andrew’s School in Woking. Our Online Minecraft and Roblox sessions offer the Girls a valuable chance to connect by sharing tips and building together. This half term we are excited to offer a Virtual Reality Session at Chimera, Fleet.

Autistic Teenage Girls We know how hard it is to find support for autistic teenage girls, so we aim to provide a space for them to connect. We support the Teens to access all activities with a "challenge through choice" approach. We hold monthly Weekend Teen Group at St. Andrew’s School in Woking, and the Teens can join our Minecraft Sessions. This half term we are excited to offer a Virtual Reality Session at Chimera, Fleet. Autistic teenage girls over 16 can join our Yoga Sessions on monthly Sundays. Click the images below to find out more or to book.

New! Yoga Sessions for Autistic Women over 16 years, and Parents/Carers will take place at St. Andrew’s School, Woking at the same time as our Teen Group on monthly Sundays. The Session is also open to the parents and carers of the Teens attending the Teen Group.

Parents & Carers We aim to provide a session for parents and carers within all our Girls and Teen Sessions. One of our experienced Parent/Carer Facilitators is always on hand to offer a listening ear, share experiences or give advice. We understand that parents and carers need support even if their daughter is not ready to attend our Groups. Each month we have a limited number of Parent/Carer Attendee Only tickets available if you would like to access support even if your daughter is unable to attend the Group.
