This free TWO-week course, taught by a primary school teacher, looks at strategies to support the development of Key Stage 1 maths.
The course is suitable for any adult involved in supporting children to learn (e.g. grandparents, carers, parents and educators)
Topics include:
- An overview of the skills children need to develop at Key Stage 1
- Practical & fun strategies to encourage children to develop key maths skills
- Ideas to encourage maths development during the holidays
- Support to brush up your own basic maths
(KS1 covers children aged 5-7 years old in school years 1 & 2)
