From a cuppa with a neighbour to a full-blown street party, the big lunch will bring millions together in their communities to celebrate. In 2022, 17.2 million people took part in The Big Jubilee Lunch, as part of the official celebrations for our late Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The most valuable and powerful thing we have is our communities and the Coronation Big Lunch provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate that, and let's face it who doesn't like to have a great lunch and a good natter with friends! If you're thinking of organising a street party or an event that involves a road closure you will need to submit an application to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council by no later than 25th March. Don't forget to put your event on the Coronation street party map hereMonday 8th May
