***Free Bus Travel for Veterans on 11th November***

Free bus travel for veterans and servicemen and women

Metrobus and Brighton & Hove Buses are offering free travel to veterans and serving members of the armed forces this Remembrance Sunday (November 11).
Anyone wearing their military service medals or carrying a military ID card can travel free all day on the bus network, across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Brighton and Hove.

Metrobus’ Managing Director Martin Harris said he wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to travel to Remembrance Day services, parades and wreath laying on Sunday.
“It’s a particularly poignant day, marking the 100th anniversary since the end of WWI, and a time for communities to come together and acknowledge the debt the nation owes the armed forces, while looking toward the future with hope,” Martin said.
