The Town Council is seeking to recruit an experienced part-time administrator on a temporary basis for a fixed term of 6 months initially. The role will cover the administration of the Council’s two allotments sites (including liaison with plot holders), as well as assisting with planning related matters (downloading plans), hall hire, football bookings, website/eNewsletter updates, other ad hoc projects and assisting members of the public when necessary. The position is for 12 hours per week (expected to be 4 hours per day over 3 days).

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate previous administrative experience, IT skills and strong interpersonal skills. A knowledge of local government would be desirable or a willingness to learn about it and attend training events.
