Skatepark Opening

We were pleased to celebrate the opening of the new skatepark at Horley Recreation Ground with Town, Borough and County Councillors on Friday 17 November together with students from Oakwood School who helped the Town Council in its design and selection phases.

The skatepark was designed and built by Bendcrete Leisure and was completed earlier this year. Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and Surrey County Council both made valuable financial contributions towards the cost of the project.

The skatepark has since been inspected and signed off by RoSPA. Mike George, Chairman of the Town Council, said that he was delighted that the new skatepark had been completed on time and could see how popular and well used it had become
