Horley Carnival

Following the success of the Jubilee Fun Day, the Organising Committee has decided to revive the Horley Carnival, which will take place on Saturday 13th July, 12 noon – 5.00pm.

Local organisations working together include Horley Town Council, Horley Chamber of Commerce, Horley Lions, Horley & District Round Table, the Rotary & 41 Club, Horley Country Market and Horley East Guides.

It is planned to make this a real Community Family Day, the theme being Children’s Books, giving plenty of scope for both the Procession Floats and stall holders alike.

The festivities will start at 12.00 noon with the parade through the town centre and into the Recreation Grounds, and ladies, there is no need to cook the family lunch as there will be a selection of caterers there.

There will be lots of entertainment including dancing, music from the Vegas Nights and Blown Gasket and lots more. East Grinstead Miniature Steam Railway are back by popular demand and there will also be a dog show.
