South and South East in Bloom

Horley has also once again entered the South & South East in Bloom Competition in the Town Centre and Best Public Park categories. Plans are in hand to have spectacular floral displays in the town centre and we hope that the Memorial Gardens will be even more stunning than usual. Borough Councillors and local businesses will be sponsoring much of the planting. Last year we were delighted to win a Silver Award and this year we are “going for gold!” Judging for this competition will take place in early July and the awards will be presented at Hove Town Hall on 3rd September this year.
