Reigate Ramblers Highgate to Hampstead, the scenic route!

Meet at Redhill station in time to buy a ticket and catch the 8.40 train to Victoria (travelcard recommended) or meet at Archway underground station at 9.50. There is some urban walking (Highgate, Golders Green, Hampstead) with lots of interesting features, but mainly Hampstead Heath and surrounding parkland. Parliament Hill (fantastic views), the pergola, Two Tree Hill etc. A hilly walk, nothing too steep or prolonged, but a feature throughout! Picnic lunch, bring “coffee” or pick one up in Waterlow Park. Possible opt-outs at 5 or 6.5 miles. No stiles - could be muddy if wet.
